2 States

Though 2 States was a successful movie and Arjun and Alia were appreciated a lot for their acting, Arjun wasn't really the first choice for this movie. Ranbir Kapoor was offered the role but he turned down the offer and the makers then approached Arjun Kapoor.

Phantom

Ranbir Kapoor surely doesn't regret turning down this offer as the movie bombed at the Box-Office. Saif Ali Khan accepted the offer and the movie bombed at the box-office.

Bang Bang

Ranbir kapoor turned down the offer but we are not complaining. We thought that Hrithik did amazingly well and Ranbir couldn't have matched Hrithik's dancing abilities and the look that he donned for Bang Bang.

Fitoor

This is the second movie with Katrina Kaif that Ranbir Kapoor turned down. We think he made a good choice by turning this down. The movie was a yawn-fest.

Dil Dhadakne Do

Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were to play the roles played by Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra respectively, but both the siblings turned it down for they found it to gimmicky to play siblings on screen.
