An extremely shameful act of plagiarism is what we didn't expect from a Karan Johar movie. When Karan hired Pritam as the music director, we all expected Pritam to deliver his best, but he chose to stick to what he does best, lifting music from other hit songs. We expected Ae Dil hai Mushil songs to be extremely original but they are not. While the opening music of the title song of ADHM is very similar to Jism 2 title song, the latest Bulleya song's opening music (from 00:10 seconds) is a direct lift from Papa Roach's Last Resort. This act of plagiarism in a Karan Johar movie is absolutely shocking because he has always been on the forefront in condemning the act of piracy and now his own movie's songs are infringing others' copyright.

Bulleya song is captivating but is also reminiscent of Junoon's sayyonee song.
