Yesterday, the media was abuzz with reports of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli getting married. The rumours appeared so believable that even the official dates were announced by some so called reliable sources of leading dailies. According to the rumours, December 12 was the date of marriage and the reports even went on to talk about Anushka's bridal wear.

However, the reports of Anushka Sharma getting married to Indian Virat Kohli next week are untrue, the Bollywood star's spokesperson said on Wednesday. "There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage)," Anushka's spokesperson said.

The rumours intensified after Kohli was rested for the remaining ODI series against Sri Lanka. Citing fatigue, Virat Kohli had asked BCCI to excuse him from the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka that will begin on December 10.
