Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgan's Shivaay will be releasing on the same date on October 28, 2016. To avoid this Diwali clash, both the makers want the other one to postpone their movie release date, but none of them wants to do that as Oct 28 happens to be Diwali week and movies tend to do extremely well during that week.

Honestly speaking both the movies can do equally well if the makers ask cinema hall owners to reduce their ticket prices so that fans can enjoy both the movies in cinema halls without worrying about the big dent on their pocket. Watching movies is an expensive affair nowadays and middle class people prefer to download and watch a pirated copy with family at home because of the ridiculously expensive ticket prices in cinema halls. If both the movies happen to release on the same date then action lovers will watch Shivaay and Romantic Drama lovers will choose ADHM over Shivaay. So one of them will definitely be downloaded by pirated movie lovers because fans would wanna watch both the high budget movies but because of the exorbitant cost of watching movies in cinema halls, most middle class families won't be able to enjoy these movies in Cinema halls.

Let us hope that sense prevails and the cost of watching movies in cinema halls come down drastically.
