We all know by now that Ranbir Kapoor will be essaying the role of Sanju Baba in the upcoming biopic on Sanjay Dutt being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Sanjay Dutt, only had one request to Raju for the biopic, more than his own casting in the film, it was the actor’s father Sunil Dutt’s casting that was most crucial to him. The actor wanted someone really capable to play his father on screen and so he expressed his thoughts to friend and director Rajkumar Hirani. Hence, the casting of the actor’s father was a vital decision. Now we know it's veteran actor Paresh Rawal who will be seen essaying the role of father to Ranbir Kapoor on screen! Sanjay Dutt remembers his father Sunil Dutt a lot and was very close to him. Today, Sanjay feels he understands his father a lot more than before.
