Cannes Film Festival celebrates 70 years in 2017 and Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali plans to wrap up the shoot and post production of his next directorial venture titled 'Padmavati' starring Deepika Padukone before May 2017 so that he can showcase Padmawati at Festival De Cannes 2017.
The male leads have not been confirmed yet. Shahid Kapoor may play Deepika's husband. As per history, Alauddin Khilji the Sultan of Delhi was the reason why Padmawati killed herself. We would therefore get to see a one more Hero in the movie who could play a mix of positive and negative role.
