Shaktimaan was one of India's most popular superhero TV series that was aired on the India's National TV Netowork - Doordarshan. Actor Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and it was directed by Dinkar Jani. It started on Sept 27, 1997 (the same year when Dil to Pagal Hai was released) and aired till March 2005.
