Kung Fu Yoga Movie Review

Poor CGI, painfully awkward and pointless scenes make it a dumb and unbearable watch. Watch it only if you are a hardcore Jackie Chan fan.

Jackie Chan who plays the role of a Chinese Archeology Professor teams up with Bollywood actress Disha Patani and assistant Kyra to locate lost Magadha Treasure.

Jackie Chan reunites with Stanley Tong to produce an 'Indiana Jones' type of action adventure and treasure hunting film. For the hardcore Jackie Chan fans, Kung Fu Yoga has everything that they expect in a JC movie. It has Car Chase Scenes, fast action combat fighting, stunning cinematography and exotic locations along with some Bollywood actors to add some masala into the movie. For those who are not Jackie Chan fans, this movie will come across as fairly dumb, yet entertaining in parts. There is no chemistry between Jackie Chan and the princess and their scenes are painfully awkward and some scenes being totally confusing and we fail to understand why those scenes were even included in the movie. The chemistry between Amyra Dastur and Aarif Rahman was surprisingly good, despite the fact that they spoke different languages. There were some scenes that was funny.

The CGi was terrible and this made the movie a horrendous watch. The overuse of animal GCI attack scene and a ridiculous final showdown scene makes this movie absolutely unwatchable. Jackie Chan's age is clearly visible in this movie and you won't find him as agile as he was before. The movies are restricted and very typical of Jackie Chan stunts. There was nothing new in the action. Bollywood actor Sony Sood could have made a better antagonist, he fails to impress us with his acting.

Watch it only if you are a true Jackie Chan fan.
