Rishi Kapoor was born on September 4, 1952 in Mumbai. He did his schooling with his brothers at Campion School, Mumbai and Mayo College, Ajmer. Rishi Kapoor is married to Bollywood actress Neetu Singh. They got married in 1980. Rishi Kapoor has two children, a daughter - Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (Born in 1980) and Bollywood hearthrob Ranbeer Kapoor (Born in 1982). Rishi is also the paternal uncle of actresses Karisma Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor.

He debuted as a child actor in Mera Naam Joker in 1970 and walked away with a National Film Award.

His actual debut was in 1973 in the movie Bobby for which we won the coveted Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 1974.
