Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey have given us critically acclaimed movies like Special 26 and Baby. Special 26 was released in 2013 and Baby was released in 2015. Both the movies were directed by Neeraj Pandey. In his first movie, A Wednesday!, his work was largely praised by audiences as well as the critics. A Wednesday starred Naseeruddin Shah. A Wednesday! also won many awards in different categories. Akshay Kumar's 2016 movie 'Rustom' was produced by Neeraj Pandey and was a runaway commercial success.
In November 2016, Akshay Kumar had announced on Twitter about teaming up with Neeraj for Crack, which was slated to release on Independence Day this year. However, the movie has not yet gone on floors. There were rumours that the movie got shelved. So far there is no news about the release of Crack.
Neeraj Pandey's upcoming movie is Aiyaary which is set to release on 2018 starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee.
