Mohenjo Daro is an upcoming Bollywood epic adventure-romance movie directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde. Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ashutosh and Sunita Gowarikar, Mohenja Daro is set to release on August 12, 2016.
Academy Award winning music director A.R. Rahman has composed the music while the lyrics have been penned by Javed Akhtar.
The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenja-Daro. Mohenjo-daro is an archaeological site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2500 BCE, it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization.
