Upcoming

Those who were expecting Priyanka Chopra and Irfan Khan in the lead are in for disappointment as 'Not so popular' actors Abhishek Bachchan & Parineeti Chopra have been roped in to play the lead roles.

Who in his sane mind would cast Abhishek Bacchan in the lead role in 2017? Well, there are people in the industry who have immense respect for his father Amitabh Bachchan and looks like on his request SLB may have offered Abhishek Bachchan the lead role in Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic which he will be producing. Priyanka Chopra opted out and looks like she recommended her cousin Parineeti Chopra for the movie. Nepotism rocks!

Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan were rumoured to be cast in this film but the two later opted out from the project. Priyanka wasn't keen on Abhishek playing the lead for she knows that he can't carry a movie on his shoulders. Debutante Jasmeet Reen will be directing the movie. Parineeti Chopra will play the protagonist's love interest, poetess Amrita Pritam. The film is titled 'Gustakhiyan'.
