Diana Penty starrer Happy Bhagg Jayegi was a surprise hit of last year and that encouraged Mudassar Aziz to write a sequel for the same. According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the lead this time. The original film starring Abhay Deol and Diana Penty was a sleeper hit, the reason filmmaker Aanand L Rai and director Mudassar Aziz are taking it forward. However, the sequel is completely different with a new set of lead actors. Aditya Roy Kapoor has been approached for the role opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
Honestly, we loved Happy Bhagg Jayegi mainly because of the spontaneous acting of Diana Penty. We are not sure if Sonakshi will be able to do justice to the role. Disappointed with the pairing but let us hope the movie turns out to be interesting. We will miss Abhay and Diana.
