Kangana Brilliant, Movie Mediocre, Say Simran Critics

Simran may not be another Queen for Kangana Ranaut but it is way better than Rangoon and indeed Kangana Ranaut's best performance post Queen. During the promotions, Kangana Ranaut spoke about her past and the focus somehow shifted from the movie 'Simran' to Kangana Ranaut's personal life. This even made the makers of Simran quite upset. We wonder why because the audience is in love with Kangana Ranaut and standing behind her like the Rock of Gibraltar. May be this sympathy wave may help the movie as the fans would fock in to the theaters to watch their favorite actress on screen.

Pinkvilla was all praises for Kangana Ranaut. "Mediocre is a term that one wouldn’t easily associate with either Kangana Ranaut or Hansal Mehta", it said. While Kangana's peformance is being praised, the movie overall is quite a let down. However the film rides heavily on Kangana Ranaut's shoulders. Kangana Ranaut is impressive and a good word of mouth may help boost the collections of Simran. While the first half is fast paced and entertaining, the second half is what lets the movie down. Nonetheless, if you are Kangana fan, you will surely enjoy the movie. It is definitely a one time watch.
