Kyra, who's Nick name is Koko seems always complicated, and this complication is the heart beat of the film. She's a depressed, damaged insomniac, who finds solace in a few good friends and can't stop buying things on eBay that she doesn't even need .props to write a director, Gauri Shinde for creating a Hindi film heroine who is stubbornly difficult and a bigger applause to Alia Bhatt, for her knockout performance.Shah Rukh Khan as Jehangir Khan in the movie, a psychiatrist is apt for the role. It's an intense role which is of course a cakewalk for the super star.

He creates magic with his splendid dialogues! From a sports coach to a life coach, both roles would certainly feature in SRKs most impressive and restrained performance. The regular cine-goer might feel a tad underwhelmed by Dear Zindagi as it lacks dramatic plot -twists, but a subject as "fragile" as life coaching requires a slice-of-life treatment to portray the normalcy of the whole process. Despite some flaws, Dear Zindagi is a very mature attempt at film-making considering the crap Bollywood produces each year. The biggest take-away form the film for an individual would be that if he/she is facing with any issues, they shouldn't be hesitant in seeking therapy which often considered as a taboo in India .

To wrap it all up, viewers facing similar issues will strongly relate to the movie. Goa has been captured beautifully. There are only three songs and fortunately they are good to hear, Kunal kapoor, Angad bedi, Ali Zafar and Aditya Roy Kapoor have done their part well. It's an overall 4 out of 5 Stars and surely a box of good quotes and new things to learn!
