YouTube sensation Sumeet Vyaas will be seen playing Kareena Kapoor's husband in Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding. The film which marks Kareena Kapoor Khan's comeback after her maternal break also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. The film is co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi .
The project was delayed due to Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy. Principal photography began in September 2017. The movie will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangkok. Although Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Huma Qureshi were cast, they left the project. Swara Bhaskar and Kareena Kapoor agreed to act in the film.
