Padmaavat has bought Shahid back in the news for his impressive acting, his first onscreen chemistry with Deepika Padukone, staring in one of the most expensive Hindi films of all time and collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Some of the best movies where he has given amazing performances in his career are Vishal Bhardwaj's caper thriller Kaminey (2009) the action film R... Rajkumar (2013), Bhardwaj's acclaimed drama Haider, for which he won the Best Actor award at Filmfare, Udta Punjab, which won him the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.

Shahid will next star in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Bollywood fans would be more excited though to see him in his next collaboration with Imtiaz Ali once again after their 2007 successful romantic comedy Jab We Met co-starring Kareena Kapoor.

However, the star has already made clear that it is not going to be a sequel to Jab We Met. The actress is yet to be finalized but the shoot is going to start this year and might get released by next year.

Even after 10 years, people would enjoy that masterpiece and that puts a big pressure on the actor-director duo to surpass their previous success.

We hope the duo will create the same magic once again that they did with Jab We Met.
