Bollywood movie Te3n is a remake of Korean thriller Montage. Set in Kolkata Te3n revolves around a Sr. Citizen John Biswas who loses his granddaughter after she is held for ransom. John Biswas decides to meet the investigating officer of his granddaughter’s case. The investigating officer (who has now become a priest) asks him to let it go. 8 years Later, when another kid gets kidnapped the same way, officers in charge Sarita Sarkar and father Martin and John Biswas come together to solve the case. Is this kidnapping related to the earlier one? What is the motive? Well to know that you need to watch the film.

Amitabh Bachchan is outstanding in his role as John Biswas. From his body language to his expressions, Big B has performed so well that he totally convinces you with his act and you feel sympatethic towards him. Mr. Bachchan has paid attention to every small detail. Nawazuddin's performance as Father Martin is good but his accent didn’t seem suitable for the role of a Bengali catholic priest. Vidya Balan doesn't have a powerful role but she acts well.

This film could have been a good thriller but the only problem is that it gives away the suspense too soon and once you figure that out, you completely lose interest in it. The film is too stretched and disappoints us a lot. The execution of this movie leaves a lot to desire.

If you expect Te3n to be like Vidya Balan's Kahaani, then you will be highly disappointed. Watch this only for Amitabh Bachchan's performance. We recommend you skip it and go for The Conjuring 2 this week.
